Rachael Rampat delves into what you should expect from having work experience on a film set.

‘Welcome to your mind.’ This is the prominent slogan of the short film I found myself working on last summer. ‘The Black Box’, written by Thom Jackson Wood sets out to shine a light on the difficulties of living with ME, a condition in which individuals must live with chronic fatigue and pain. Boldly approaching large topics such as isolation, desperation and overcoming pain, the film incorporates a refreshing take on the battle between two sides of the human conscience by using the opposing characters of The Muse and Fallen Angel.
