It’s no surprise a Black Pencil was awarded to Tom Anders for the 2015 D&AD New Blood/WeTransfer brief.

Tom Anders was a creative advertising student at the University of Lincoln when he won himself a D&AD Black Pencil, thanks to his heart warming entry for the New Blood brief, ‘How do I see myself in ten years.’

His response showed his affectionate passion to become a father, for which he created a book and a website. The book is a compilation of beautifully illustrated double page images of how things will be when he’s a dad. It consists of little glimpses of the future, with anecdotes such as, ‘When I’m a dad… monsters under the bed won’t survive long.’
