An interesting idea for a newspaper's website. Instead of being forced to watch adverts at the top of any and all videos, users get the option to "Pass it on" AKA share the article via social media. The user gets to skip the advert, the newspaper reaches more people with the article and the advertiser also reaches a larger audience. It's win, win, win.
