FutureRising hosted a bespoke event for the students at Middlesex University.

Students from advertising, media and PR courses were invited to attend a careers sessions at FutureRising HQ.

The session was dedicated to helping the students identify which career path to pursue, which companies would be a good fit for them, what they would need to do to appeal to those companies and where possible, we made introductions to people in the creative industries who had roles available.

  1. Adam Oldfield

I have over 9 years creative industry experience having worked across advertising, digital and mobile technology. In 2012, I worked at Mobext (Havas) where I helped build mobile and web apps for Adidas, L’Oréal and P&G. Whilst also making prototypes, running hackathons and workshops. Prior to this, I spent 6 years at the IAB, where I was responsible for all video content production. I want to provide everyone the inspiration and tools needed to land any job, regardless of their background. @AdamTOldfield

  2. Donald Fogarty

FutureRising was born from the frustration of not knowing anyone in industry or anything about the workplace because of a lack of careers advice. Adam and I created a group of young professionals who were passionate about helping the next generation realising their potential. For five years, we've grown from a blog to this platform via over 70 events. We're building a purpose led business and currently work with over 30 institutions, 50 companies and 4,000 students and graduates.
