SheSays Young & Awesome Showcase
The SheSays Young & Awesome Showcase turned one!
We kicked off the event with a couple of talks (full line-up below) before announcing the winners of SheSays' Young & Awesome competition and followed that up with a crit session.
Congratulations to Maddie and Tom who were announced as the winners of the latest round of Young & Awesome!
Kat Hahn, Associate Creative Director, R/GA London
Kat has spent the past 9 years working for many agencies, including Tribal DDB, Blast Radius, Razorfish, Poke and 4Creative. She loves creating stuff that people will use, share and talk about. Kat judged the showcase in November 2013. Watch Kat Hahn's talk.
Frederico Roberto, Creative Director, JAM London
Fred is an award winning CD, with over 30 trophies throughout his career, including Cannes Lions and El Ojo de Iberoamerica. A storyteller by nature, he believes that the difference is in walking the talk rather than just talking the talk. Anyone can have an idea, but only a few actually execute them. He's currently pushing the industry to do some groundbreaking work. Fred judged the showcase in June 2014. Watch Frederico Roberto's talk.
Rosie Bardales, Executive Creative Director, BETC London
Rosie has worked in London, France, Amsterdam and New York, her attitude is 'What's the new thing we're going to make today?'. Rosie says it's important to surround yourself with very smart people who approach advertising in completely different ways. Having worked at BBH, Mother and W+K, we reckon she right about that one. Rosie is the October guest CD and will announce the winners.
Thanks to Joe Heston for these great shots.
