Leeds College of Art
It was a pleasure for us to head to Leeds College of Art for the first time with such a fabulous line-up. We had Jeremy Garner, Creative Director at Weapon7, Michela Nicchiotti, Creative from Chiel and Eddie Fisher, Creative at Wieden + Kennedy come along with us.
On show was a tonne of creative inspiration, career advice and plenty of tips to help get your work and mind in gear for landing a job in the creative industries.
Jeremy Garner, Creative Director, Weapon7
Prior to joining Weapon7 in 2008, Jeremy was the co-founder of two pioneering digital agencies in London: Glue (1999) and BloodPartnership (2000). He also used to be a Creative Director at LBi London. Jeremy has a daughter and a son; Magnolia and Zentaro. At home, he enjoys painting disturbing pictures under the alias ‘Jelly Buckingham’ and writing psychological thrillers under the pen name ‘Seth Garner’.
Michela Nicchiotti, Freelance Creative, Cheil
Having studied Communication Science and New Media, Michela then graduated with an MA in Design and Art Direction whilst working for an advertising agency, as Art Director, in Rome. Michela moved to London and worked at Fallon and then Lean Mean Fighting Machine.
Eddie Fisher, Creative, W+K
Eddie Fisher is a creative working at London based advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy. Eddie studied at New Bucks Ad School and began his career at VCCP. Eddie has an uncanny ability of being able to estimate the weight of any frozen microwave meal to the nearest 40 grams, just by feeling it. Eddie runs: marathons, half marathons, for the tube or whatever. He just likes to run.
