We headed to Middlesex for the our first ever trip. We brought along a collection of speakers representing the creative industries to pass on experiences, careers advice and tips.
Dan Holt, Senior Planner, Krowd @ Karma Comms
Dan has worked in media, social, strategy and is currently a planner whose clients include Cobra Beer and Nintendo. Having experienced the creative industries both here in London and in Australia, Dan specialises in content and social strategy, making things people like, not making people like things.
Michela Nicchiotti, Freelance Creative, M&C Saatchi
Having studied Communication Science and New Media, Michela then graduated with an MA in Design and Art Direction whilst working for an advertising agency, as Art Director, in Rome. Michela moved to London and worked at Fallon and then Lean Mean Fighting Machine.
Will Humphrey, Senior Planner, Lida/M&C Saatchi
Over the course of a seven year career, Will has worked at agencies as diverse as Lowe, Anomaly and even Edelman, a PR agency. He founded the popular AdGrads blog before it folded into the IPA’s Ad-Mission blog.
Lucy Dale, Freelance Creative, M&C Saatchi
Lucy originally studied law but thought being a solicitor sounded quite dull so she decided to head to Watford, where she learnt to write adverts under Big Tony. She did placements at Karmarama, Adam and Eve and DHM, before being hired at VCCP where she worked on brands like Carling, Muller and Aunt Bessie’s.
