Every story begins with one simple word. Once. Not always in the way you would think. Not only in fairy tales or love stories. ‘Once’ could be just enough on its own. They say you only need one chance, one voice, one 'like' – as long as it is the right one. ‘Once’ for me, means the world.
You see, once I wrote my first story, once I got my first high mark on that story, once I stood on the roof of London and felt a sense of belonging, I knew. The same feeling had rushed over me once before, while standing on stage before the premiere of our comedic version of Footloose, the same feeling of belonging. Following this instinct had led me to become who I am today, a strong, confident, storytelling bad-ass who will knock your socks off if you just give her that one chance. Once, is all you need.
Through both education and personal experience, I have developed an eye for error in copy and I am often asked to serve as an ‘auto-correct’ to make sure the grammar and spelling is of best quality. The importance of good writing is ever so current, especially in the digital world of marketing, as well as well-written stories that connect the consumers with their brands. As such, my copywriting skills can be of good use in a wide range of strategic to creative projects.
