Having begun a French Degree at ULIP, I switched to UCL to pursue English. I adore literature, reading and thinking. Ideas come to me with ease and I enjoy using words in a creative, yet informative way. Travelling is an essential part of life for me, as I feel it's the truest way to gain experience of our ever-shrinking world and come to a full comprehension of other people and cultures This incorporates my other major passion- meeting and communicating with people. I make personal connections easily, relishing conversation. Discourse with others is extremely important to me and I am stimulated by discussion and debate- often enjoying an occasional dash of controversy!
I derive a certain pleasure from organisation and planning- though I do ensure I can always be flexible and spontaneous when the need arises.
At the moment, I am interested in a career in travel journalism, or perhaps writing for destination guides. Another strand of this sector which greatly appeals to me is working within a bespoke travel company, devising tours for individual clients, or working as an international tour guide.
On a slightly different note, I am also eager to learn more about what a role as a researcher would entail- I feel my natural curiosity would suit me well to this role, as would my ability to collate information and present it in a digestible, interesting format.
